The novel is titled, "The Red Queen's Run," and it is a mystery about violence on a university campus. A journalism professor known for her quiet courage and her beautiful red hair teams with a local detective to investigate the mysterious and brutal death of the dean of journalism. Some of the faculty who hated the dean are under suspicion. The protagonist, Red Solaris, is appointed interim dean and the detective who grows to love her worries she will be the next victim. No, it is not set at UNR but it is set in a fictional town in northern Nevada.
