Jeff was interviewed by KOLO's Rebecca Kitchen about his "Artists Behind the Scenes" which was displayed at the Metro Gallery inside Reno City Hall.
We know about the theory that photo shoots with kids and animals can be a pain, but we have to say that these are some of our favorite things to do. Especially with kids as talented as these! — at Renown Children’s Hospital.
We enjoyed shooting this cover for Edible Reno-Tahoe, featuring the cooking of local firefighters.
It's was really eye-opening working on this project with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. It's a great reminder to dump trash where it belongs, and not out in our beautiful open space.
Jeff had the pleasure of shooting behind the scenes when the Dance Theater of Harlem performed in Reno. Some of the shots were part of his Behind the Scenes exhibit, which was featured at Reno's Metro Gallery during Artown.
We recently had the immense pleasure of shooting at one of Reno's best restaurants, Beaujolais, working with Chef Bill Gilbert and Larry DeVincenzi. This was some seriously mouth-watering work.
We were honored to take the author photo for Bourne Morris. Yes, author photo, as opposed to professor photo, as she has written a book!

For an issue of Edible Reno-Tahoe, we got to spend time in some of our area's most spirited locations.
Tom Adams, a partner at Seven Troughs Distilling Company, ended up making the cover. You'll want to talk to him about his company's moonshine and bourbon!
Also pictured are Ashley and Colby Frey, owners of Frey Ranch in Fallon. They have a winery now and make brandy and other spirits.
Special thanks to Publishers Jaci Goodman and Amanda Burden for allowing us to share in the creativity that goes into every issue of Edible Reno-Tahoe!
Enjoy this video that M.D. Welch made of Jeff talking about the photography classes he teaches through the Nevada Museum of Art.
Here are some shots from a recent shoot for Renown Medical and their Telemedicine program.

Here's a production shot from our trip to Frey Winery in Fallon, NV for Edible Reno-Tahoe Magazine. The subjects were placed on a grain silo using a lift and Jeff shot from the ground. Thanks to Mike Okimoto for capturing this!
We enjoyed getting to know Merlyn Paine of Carson City, when we shot her for the National Jewish Health Annual Report. Merlyn was a patient of the hospital and has been given back much of her lung capacity. She can laugh again and we enjoyed hearing that!
Do you want to learn about portrait photography...or know someone who does? Join me in my studio for a "Studio Photography: Portraiture" class. I teach through Nevada Museum of Art on a regular basis.
When you're out and about, pick up a copy of this week's Reno News & Review -- I'm thrilled to be profiled alongside such talented local artists!
We had too much fun at Zephyr Cove photographing some great dogs jumping into Lake Tahoe for a new line of dog toys by Bionic Pet Products.
